The Aquanaut caused quite a stir when it launched in 1997. It’s young, modern and unexpected. Its case is a rounded octagon inspired by the Nautilus. It comes with a “tropical” strap made of a new composite material that is extremely resistant to abrasion, salt water and UV radiation.

Stainless steel case with black (composite) rubber strap. Fixed stainless steel bezel. Black embossed dial with luminescent silver-tone hands and Arabic numerals. Minute markers around outer rim. Dial Type: Analog. Luminescent hands and markers. Date display at 3 o’clock.

The Patek Philippe caliber 324 SC automatic movement contains 29 gemstones, is composed of 213 parts, has a vibration frequency of 28,800 vph, and has a power reserve of about 45 hours. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Skeleton case back. Cushion box shape. Case size: 40mm. Fold-over clasp with safety release.
